Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton received nearly a quarter of a million dollars last year for a speaking engagement on behalf of Academic Partnerships, a for-profit education company in which Jeb Bush held an ownership stake and on whose board he served. Clinton’s newly filed personal financial disclosure shows that she was paid $225,500 on March 24, 2014 by Academic Partnerships…. In 2011, Bush joined Academic Partnerships as an investor and as a paid advisor. He helped the company host multiple conferences and has appeared in online videos encouraging others to consider the Academic Partnership business model. Though he did not share the stage with Clinton, Bush spoke at the same conference.
Missourians Organizing for Reform and Empowerment (MORE), previously known as the Missouri Branch of Acorn is now dealing with members of “Black Lives Matter” who were being paid $5,000 a month to protest in Feguson (PLus all the TVs and Doritos they could carry) who haven’t received their pay for the last couple of months. Now they have parked themselves in front of More’s offices and are using the hashtag #cutthecheck.
MORE is thename the Missouri branch of ACORN began using after ACORN declared bankruptcy in 2010. More , Open Society and other organizations received millions from George Soros according to Front Page magazine.
Millennial Activists United have posted a letter on their blog, demanding that MORE #cutthecheck.
Maybe they should talk to the ACLU and demand that ACORN and Soros begin paying them 15 bucks an hour.
The fact that Saudi Arabia is on the U.N. Human Rights Council at all is more than sufficient to make a mockery out of the entire body. Nevertheless, it appears this ridiculous membership isn’t enough for the Saudis, and the Washington Free Beacon is reporting that the medieval desert monarchy is angling to take over the head position when the leadership position becomes available after 2016.
Apparently the whole thing is funny to Saudi Arabia, which has already beheaded as many people in 2015 as it did in all of 2014.
